Each August the Cruise Whitsunday’s Great Barrier Reef Festival takes over the town of Airlie Beach attracting large crowds from far and wide. The Festival provides a direct line to Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and now the Sunshine Coast (thanks Bonza) as well as closer towns like Cairns.
