Rotary Street Parade

The 2024 Rotary Street Parade will be held on Saturday, August 3, at 5 pm. With fun for all the family showcasing the creativity of our region’s best businesses, schools, community groups and dancers.

As the parade comes through Airlie Beach Main Street bring the kids and watch the street transform into a sea of colour and life with vibrant music, entertainment and imaginative floats. Come celebrate the Great Barrier Reef Festival – line the streets, cheer for your favourite float and soak up the atmosphere.

Want to be involved?

We would love you to get involved and showcase your community group, business or school to the town by entering the parade. Get everyone involved for some team building fun – It’s a great opportunity for some friendly competition, while you work on your float ideas with colleagues or club members. We promise you’ll have a ball in the process!

As always the Street Parade is reef-themed, with this year’s theme ‘Above and below‘.

Entries can be a ‘walking’ entry or vehicle ‘float’ or a combination of both.

There will be great cash prizes (and bragging rights) for;

  • Most Creative and Wacky

The closing date for entries is Tuesday, July 30th – get creating now!
