Location: Shute Harbour Road, Airlie Beach, QLD, 4802
Saturday on Airlie Beach Main Street
With Mackay and Whitsunday Life onboard as sponsor for the Street Fun and a whole host of events planned throughout the day this will be the place to be, with the main street closed to accommodate the fun.
The Fraser Ford Revvin the Reef Car Show will bring a selection of cars, motor bikes and other vehicles out in force and the live rock and roll music will bring the street to life. Miss Pin Up Competition will follow and see the girls dressed in 50’s and 60’s outfits to impress.
With roving street performers, displays from PCYC gym and Cheer Leaders interspersed there will be plenty to enjoy. There’s an Art Expo in Beach Plaza to check out in-between the action and Airlie Beach Hotel will be hosting the Classic Rock Legends and there are plenty of bars and restaurants to enjoy lunch or a refreshing beverage and there will be food vendors all weekend at the Whitsunday Food Service Eat Street.
Then get ready for the Medibank Magic Mile where kids and adults will be running their heart out for some great prizes. The well loved Rotary and Ray White Street Parade will finish off the action on the main street.
